OceanTools Launch New Service Line

OceanTools, a world leading subsea engineering company specialising in the design and manufacture of underwater and offshore technology, have launched a new service line for 2018.

Launched in January 2018, OceanTools Intervention Tooling Management Service (ITMS) acts as a "independent one stop shop” offering third party ROV intervention tooling equipment, unhindered by parent company ties.

The Intervention Tooling Management Service, will offer both operators and service companies within the oil and gas sector, a managed service for all their ROV intervention requirements.

The service covers: tooling rental, technical support and bid support along with technical authoring, interface management and engineering design.

Heading up this new service will be Dave Johnston, Dave brings with him many years of experience in the Subsea arena, latterly as Engineering Manager with Oceaneering’s Service, Technology and Rentals division and prior to this as Intervention Tooling Manager with i-Tech7.
