This conference, held in Bristol 6 November 2018, provided an opportunity to discuss the equipment supply, technologies and service models required to support the industry in this new environment.

• The low oil prices of recent years have had a significant impact on the Oil and Gas business. However, this has not helped marine renewables become established as a commercially viable alternative.

• Despite signs of oil price recovery, the field operators and their supply chain expect costs will require to stay low.

• The focus of operations is transitioning to total expenditure (TOTEX) for full Life of Field Support.

• Key issues are lifelong asset integrity through IRM and smart autonomous technologies.
