Aberdeen firm Strategic Resources raises £5,000 for charities after 30th anniversary drive

Staff from Strategic Resources have continued celebrations to mark the firm’s 30th year in business with a special prizegiving ceremony at a city centre primary school.
 
More than 100 primary 4 to 7 pupils from Gilcomstoun School, Skene Street were invited to take part in an art competition, entitled ‘When I grow up I want to be…’ and tasked with creating a picture that represented their chosen career or profession. There were prizes for the best entries and money was donated to the school.
 
In addition, £5,000 has been raised to date and will be split evenly between Archway, Children 1st and JDRF.
