Deepwater EU Ltd. Opens CP Design Centre in Surrey

Deepwater EU Ltd, the European subsidiary of the well known Houston, Texas based offshore corrosion specialists Deepwater Corrosion Services Inc, have further enhanced their attack on the corrosion market by creating a cathodic protection design & project management centre on the University of Surrey Research Park in Guildford, UK.
Geoff Camm, manager of the new centre, has been a respected practitioner in the business for three decades; he comments:
“I am very excited to have the opportunity to head up such an excellent team of experienced engineers. This brings together an unrivaled group of talented individuals, able to provide unique corrosion control solutions to all of our customers in the oil & gas, energy, and offshore industries.”
Geoff went onto say that the new team will be offering their clients a complete new “One Stop Design and Support Package” which has not been available. The centre will specialize in providing corrosion consultancy, from initial design assistance, 3rd party review, failure investigation and analysis and Project Managed Total Project Implementation.
Alex Delwiche, engineering manager of the centre, is a NACE CP IV Engineer with over sixteen years in the business. In addition, the centre employs several highly qualified and experienced CP designers and project managers from various industry sectors. They include: onshore process plants, tank farms and pipelines, concrete infrastructure, inshore marine terminals and offshore.
