DOF Subsea Appoints West Africa Operations and Business Development Manager

Specialist subsea service company DOF Subsea has appointed Serge Geraud as its new Operations and Business Development Director based in Angola.Formerly Offshore Construction Manager with Technip, Geraud joined DOF Subsea in December.
He will be responsible for managing the company’s day to day operations which are focused on supporting developments in West Africa. He will also play a key role in developing the business in West Africa.
Commenting on the appointment DOF Subsea UK’s Managing Director Garry Millard says, “With 40 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry including significant knowledge in operational and business development Serge will be a real asset to the DOF Subsea team.”
Geraud adds, “I am delighted to join DOF Subsea because they operate a fleet of the latest vessels for offshore work including Construction, IRM and Survey. I have seen the company growing over the past couple of years and I look forward to adding to the continued growth of the company.”
DOF Subsea provides subsea construction and engineering, IRM, ROV and survey support services to the world’s major subsea markets. The company employs over 1,200 highly qualified staff and owns state of the art equipment including 29 offshore construction, diving and ROV support vessels, 41 ROVs, 1 AUV and 11 diving spreads.
In support of its growing global business, an extensive new build programme is currently underway with 8 new vessels and 16 new Triton XLX ROVs scheduled for delivery during 2010 - 2011.
