KPMG Briefing Briefs Subsea Sector on Research and Development Tax Credits

KPMG briefed a number of key business leaders in the North East of England on the current position on tax credits for research and development work. Not all businesses are aware of the tax credit system, or do not take advantage of it, as it can provide vital additional support to companies, under a range of circumstances. Whilst there are not many changes to previous rules, HMRC are now tightening up on interpretation and application of the rules, and KPMG wish to ensure that businesses are aware of their entitlements and the constraints in making applications.
