Technip Sign 3 Year Deal For Second Westhill Site

Leading subsea company, Technip, has announced that it has signed a 3 year lease for a second site located near to its UK headquarters in the popular and growing suburb of Westhill. The company requires the extra space to provide enhanced facilities for its 800 strong workforce. The building, entitled ‘Aspect 32’, is a newly built office located at Arnhall Business Park, a new industrial area which has been extensively developed over the last year.

Technip’s UK headquarters, which are located at Westhill Industrial Estate on Enterprise Drive, was significantly extended in 2004. However, due to the company’s investment in new assets and the growth of the UK project business, the company recognized that steps were needed to ensure it continued to offer a high standard of office accommodation.

Ron Cookson, Managing Director, UK said: “We are delighted to have extended our presence in Westhill where we have been located for over 20 years. This new site will enable us to accommodate Technip’s steady growth and ensure our employees continue to have a high quality work environment”.

Staff from the company’s Major Capex and Offshore Engineering Department moved into the new office last week.
