Marine Renewables Forum
Building capacity to deliver at scale | Improving capability | Facilitating knowledge-sharing | Exploring technology synergies | Supporting decarbonisation | Funding and financing
The Marine Renewables Forum brings together stakeholders across multiple technologies, including wave, tidal, floating solar and subsea battery storage. These technologies are often co-located or complementary to offshore wind, helping to enhance electricity flow to the grid. Applications that require lower power, such as subsea tiebacks, are also considered prime opportunities. The forum focuses on key enablers for the sector, including government awareness, investment, insurance, technology adoption and reducing levelised cost of energy (LCOE).
