About Kishorn Port Ltd

Kishorn Port Ltd is a Port and Dry Dock facility on the West Coast of Scotland. With approved planning for offshore wind manufacture and assembly, an extensive laydown area spanning 45Ha, 160m diameter dry dock and an onsite quarry with concrete batching, KPL accommodates renewables, oil & gas, decommissioning and aquaculture sectors. As part of the KPL masterplan, we have secured planning permission for a 100m extension to the dry dock, allowing vessels up to 260m to be accommodated, the reclamation of foreshore ground, providing over 20Ha of laydown and hardstanding working area for floating offshore wind manufacturing, and the extension of our deepwater quays to accommodate larger vessels. The facility also holds a NORM Permit as well as an EU Ship Recycling license, coupled with one of the largest dry docks in Europe, making this the ideal location for the decommissioning and recycling of oil & gas assets. We also have an onsite quarry with 6.5 million tonnes of aggregate reserves, with a concrete batching plant, allowing us to manufacture floating offshore wind caissons, with anchorage in Loch Kishorn for storage.
