HELIX
Helix Energy Solutions’ marine contracting business unit Helix Robotics Solutions Limited is a leading supplier of subsea engineering services, operating state of the art Remote Operated Vehicles (ROVs), seabed trenching and geotechnical vehicles, and support vessels. Our deepwater ROV track record spans 17 years, including oil and gas, renewable energy, subsea mining, and specialty services projects executed successfully around the world. Canyon delivers safe, modern, innovative and professional solutions for critical-path deepwater construction and specialty marine contracting projects. As of April 2013, Canyon operates 51 ROV and trenching systems including heavy work class systems, trenching and geotechnical systems, and five chartered ROV support vessels. Many of these assets, including trenchers and the Grand Canyon support vessels, are custom built to our specifications. Innovation in remote intervention and subsea tooling techniques differentiate Canyon from other subsea vehicle providers. By combining deployment expertise with subsea engineering acumen, Canyon Offshore’s project teams develop programs that take into account every variable in an operation. This level of experience keeps projects moving forward on time and within budget.
HPR ROV
HPR ROV provide Micro ROVs and Personnel to carry out Subsea Inspections.
JDR CABLES
JDR is a leading provider of technology connecting the global offshore energy industry.
QUINTHAM
Our services in guard vessel support can reduce the risk of cable damage from nearby vessels and collect data, including from radar, giving clients the opportunity for real-time playback of any previous interactions. We also help to make data collection and reporting standardised across multiple projects by using our watchful hub, where mariner notices, plotter files, damage investigations and project logging on our real-time map are all available.
SMARTER SUBSEA HANDLING
We work with mariners, developers, and service vessel companies on projects, from the fish supply chain to sizable offshore infrastructure projects, such as inter-connector power cables, communications cables, and offshore wind farms.
Smarter Subsea Handling is pioneering handling solutions which transform subsea development and operations across multiple subsea market sectors. We not only address the limitations of existing services which are commonly deployed in these sectors, but are also able to complement and enhance existing offshore and subsea operations. Our core offering is ROVAR, a unique load-bearing, remotely operated underwater vehicle which utilises a simple, but ingenious, controllable buoyancy concept to carry heavy objects through the water column in all planes, enabling loads to be safely deployed to, or recovered from, the seabed, and moved between locations on the seabed. It also provides the ability to manoeuvre loads within restricted subsea locations such as around jacket and monopile foundations. Consider ROVAR as an Autonomous Underwater Crane or Subsea Forklift. ROVAR is versatile in design but will typically lift up to 20 Tonnes as a single unit and, by combining multiple units in master-slave arrangement or simply increasing the size of the vehicle, could lift significantly more. Our value proposition is focused on reducing operating costs and improving operational versatility and efficiency. Significant environmental gains are also offered. We have globally granted patents protecting our technology in key territories around the world.
