Floating Offshore Wind, organised by Scottish Renewables and RenewableUK, will return to P&J Live in Aberdeen on Wednesday, 12 and Thursday, 13 November 2025. The two-day exhibition and conference aims to advance the future of floating offshore wind as the industry, pioneered in Scottish waters, begins to take shape.
The 2024 edition of the event brought together over 2,200 attendees from across the world to network and discuss the future of floating offshore wind.
Scotland is home to two of the largest floating offshore wind farms in the world, Hywind Scotland and the Kincardine Offshore Wind Farm. A further three projects have received consent – Pentland off the Caithness coast, while Green Volt and Culzean Demo developments are part of the INTOG project to help decarbonise oil and gas activities. Alongside this, around 40 further projects are proposed around the UK coastline, while floating offshore wind farms are also being planned around the world. With significant investment expected to bring all of these onstream, the scale of opportunity that will be available to the UK supply chain is evident.
Meet Global Underwater Hub
Global Underwater Hub will be exhibiting at the event in November, showcasing the diversity and importance of the UK’s vibrant underwater supply chain in floating offshore wind. Visit us on stand H32 to learn more about the leading trade and industry development body for the UK’s underwater sectors and also meet some of our members who will be sharing the stand with us.
Our membership team will be on hand to discuss the benefits of becoming a member of GUH, including access to our market intelligence portal which outlines details of offshore wind projects internationally . Visitors can also discover more about our calendar of events, which includes conferences on mooring and anchoring systems, subsea cable insurance and cables, and recently published reports, white papers and guidance documents.
Stand partners
Joining Global Underwater Hub on its stand at Floating Offshore Wind 2025 will be some of it member companies, including Reflex Marine and Ridgeway Rockbags.
Visit stand H32, near the entrance to the exhibition hall, to discover more about these two businesses and their role in supporting the development of the floating offshore wind industry.
Reflex Marine will be showcasing JAVELIN, its anchor system engineered to access high-strength geological formations deep beneath the seabed. It is optimised for the high-angle, high-load requirements of Tension Leg Platforms (TLPs) and taut-line moorings. With a precision-engineered slender profile and innovative deployment techniques, JAVELIN reduces costs while minimising its environmental footprint.
Designed specifically for floating offshore wind, JAVELIN offers new levels of versatility, cost-efficiency and sustainability in anchoring.

Ridgeway Rockbags provides the original Japanese Kyowa Filter Unit Rockbag system designed to protect the subsea foundations and cables of offshore wind farms.
Made from 100% recycled material and available in 4 sizes (2T, 4T, 8T & 12T), the system can be deployed for temporary or permanent works in challenging subsea conditions. It has a single point lifting ring for fast and accurate deployment making them highly efficient for offshore projects, it also offers the option of recovering if cable faults occur or for decommissioning at the end of life.
