Join Global Underwater Hub for the first in its series of strategic themed seminars on Thursday, 2 July 2026.

The Anchors & Survey seminar will focus on innovative anchor solutions and survey strategies looking at:

 

- Borehole sampling in relation to anchor location and anchor choice

- Maximising survey scope
- Geophysical and geotechnical data to support engineering decision making
- Developer cost impacts for farm configuration

 

 

The event will begin with presentations from industry, which will then flow into a workshop and finish with networking.

 

Supported by industry, these limited capacity seminars allow full-ranging discussion around discrete topics, facilitated in GUH’s regional offices.

Venue Information
The seminar will take place in the event studio at Global Underwater Hub's premises in Westhill, Aberdeen.  Situated just off the A90 Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route, there is ample onsite and on street parking, while Aberdeen International Airport is a 10-minute drive away and Aberdeen Railway Station is 20 minutes from the office.  A regular Stagecoach bus service connects Westhill with Aberdeen.
