Breakfast Briefing: Talent Strategies and Underwater Innovation in Subsea Robotics
Date: 26th March 2026
Time: 9am-11am
Join us for a breakfast networking session sponsored by Complete Talent Services (CTS), a specialist technical recruitment consultancy with deep expertise in sourcing and retaining talent across the engineering, subsea and technical sectors. This informal morning event will bring members together to connect, share experiences and hear practical insights into today’s recruitment landscape.
Suzanne Fox and Phil Wilson from Complete Talent Services will lead the discussion on the challenges organisations are facing when attracting and retaining talent in a highly competitive market. Drawing on their long-standing experience in delivering difficult-to-fill, contingent and high-volume engineering roles, they will explore the factors shaping current recruitment pressures including skills shortages, inflated salary expectations, candidate mobility, and shifting workforce behaviours.
We will also be joined by Mark Collins, Innovation Director at SMD who will be sharing his insights into underwater robotics and the latest developments shaping the subsea industry. More details to follow.
The session will focus on:
- Strategies to help employers stand out in a competitive recruitment market
- Navigating rising salary expectations and changing candidate priorities
- Improving attraction, selection and retention approaches
- Practical ways to future-proof your talent pipeline
