Tekmar Group completes cable protection system delivery for Dogger Bank wind farm

17 June 2025

Tekmar Group is proud to announce the successful completion of our scope of work on Dogger Bank Wind Farm – the world’s largest offshore wind project. Our involvement on this landmark development began at the very earliest stages, providing engineering design, through to the manufacture and installation support of our industry-leading Cable Protection Systems (CPS). In total, Tekmar delivered 552 cable protection systems for the project.

Located off the North East coast of England, Dogger Bank presents some of the most challenging seabed conditions in the industry. Tekmar’s ability to engineer and deliver robust, technically advanced solutions was key to meeting these demands, reinforcing our market-leading reputation in protection technology.

This milestone reflects Tekmar’s proven track record in supporting the most complex offshore wind farms in the world. Dogger Bank has been under development since November 2021, and Tekmar has played a key role throughout – demonstrating the long-term value of early engagement and technical partnership.

Richard Turner, CEO of Tekmar Group, commented: “Completing our scope on Dogger Bank is a tremendous achievement for our team and a proud moment for Tekmar. From early-stage design to offshore execution, this project exemplifies the depth of expertise, capability, and commitment that Tekmar brings to global offshore energy projects.”

Tekmar Group will be at Global Offshore Wind 2025 at London ExCeL on 17–18 June.
