Global Underwater Hub are delighted to be attending ADIPEC 2024 from November 4-7 in Abu Dhabi.
Over the years, ADIPEC has established itself as one of the world's most important gatherings of the global energy industry, welcoming more than 180,000 attendees and 2,000 exhibiting companies over the four days. With over 150 countries represented, ADIPEC provides an excellent opportunity to understand the different geographies and approaches to the energy mix, decarbonisation and additional underwater markets which would be of interest to companies looking to diversify within the underwater areas.

MANAGING SUBSEA POWER SYSTEMS
Join Global Underwater Hub and Society of Underwater Technology (Middle East) on Tuesday 5th November at 2:30pm (Hall 15, Maritime & Logistics Theatre) where we will be joined by a panel of GUH members to discuss the key role that subsea cables play within power and communication systems.
Seabed cables are a critical part of the national infrastructure for power and communications as well as playing a key role in offshore electrification goals. System and product reliability is a major focus, as is the inspection and protection of this critical underwater infrastructure. Further, the energy transition is driving the need for alternative energy sources resulting in novel technologies being brought to the market. The seabed and underwater space provides challenges, opportunities and a breeding ground for innovation.
- Ian Crossland, Mocean Energy
- Marc Bell, Tekmar Group
- Alistair Cowie, MCS Group
- Dean Sanders, Nylacast
- Pierre Guerrin, 2H Offshore Engineering
Attendee Insights: Understand the multi-sector innovation present within the underwater space across inspection and integrity. Understand challenges, share lessons learned, and present advances in technology as presented by Global Underwater Hub
