Subsea Electrical Systems and Cables Forum

Promote collaboration | Data sharing | System-based holistic design | Align shareholders to mitigate risk | Generate industry-led guidance

The Subsea Cable Systems Forum focuses on the core production conduit for offshore wind, addressing reliability and risk issues across the sector.

• Current challenges with fixed wind static cables affect project risk and insurability, and these problems are expected to compound in highly dynamic floating wind projects.
• The forum’s Cables Steering Group drives task forces and workgroups across the full lifecycle, including design, manufacture, testing, handling, installation, operations & maintenance, insurance and monitoring. This ensures a holistic, system-based approach to subsea cable development and deployment.
• Available to steering group by invitation only, and sub-group by application.
