Seasplit develops cutting-edge subsea autonomous solutions using artificial intelligence technology. The development is supported by our own in-house engineering team including the creation of class-leading proprietary artificial intelligence and communication software.
Our technology is designed to integrate between Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) and Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) The technology represents a step-change in subsea communications and operations for autonomous robotic solutions. We have designed and built an Integration Solution between a WorkROV (WROV) and any working AUV through a REMORA SKID which acts as a docking station for the AUV.
The skid allows deployment of the AUV at the mission operating depth and sector through the remote functions of the ROV where the skid acts as a station for communication and charging. Once the AUV is deployed it maintains a through water direct communication path with the ROV via the Remora skid through to the topside operating control centre
This communication depends on two different methods; an optical module for higher data rate transfer in the near distances and ADSCOM an acoustic module for the lower data rate transfer to facilitate a wider range of communication. We allow communication underwater between autonomous subsea robotics, introducing new operational opportunities using simultaneous multi-robotic subsea arrays.
