Smarter Subsea Handling is pioneering handling solutions which transform subsea development and operations across multiple subsea market sectors. We not only address the limitations of existing services which are commonly deployed in these sectors, but are also able to complement and enhance existing offshore and subsea operations.
Our core offering is ROVAR, a unique load-bearing, remotely operated underwater vehicle which utilises a simple, but ingenious, controllable buoyancy concept to carry heavy objects through the water column in all planes, enabling loads to be safely deployed to, or recovered from, the seabed, and moved between locations on the seabed. It also provides the ability to manoeuvre loads within restricted subsea locations such as around jacket and monopile foundations. Consider ROVAR as an Autonomous Underwater Crane or Subsea Forklift.
ROVAR is versatile in design but will typically lift up to 20 Tonnes as a single unit and, by combining multiple units in master-slave arrangement or simply increasing the size of the vehicle, could lift significantly more.
