Viewport3 are specialist providers of 3D scanning and analysis services to a wide range of technical sectors, working predominantly subsea but also from air and land. We work hard to tailor our services to match the customer’s requirement, ensuring that we deliver to specification as efficiently and accurately as possible. Our attention to detail and proven dataset accuracy has seen our 3D data be used as the basis for first-time-fit retro design on no less than 20 occasions on items ranging from subsea templates to leaking chemical lines. On inspection-only works, we deploy the latest in point cloud reverse engineering software to extract the highest possible value from the 3D data and take pride in our ability to explain complex interrogation methods and conclude with firm answers to our client’s questions. The flexibility of using digital cameras to collect 3D data allows us to work from any ROV or diver platform, and more recently to reach places previously thought too difficult, such as inside a 13” wellbore.
