Brand new for 2025, Subsea Expo will feature a premium conference stream connecting attendees with the voices vital in making possible projects a reality and addressing the levers that help or hinder market development.

Held on the opening day of Subsea Expo, this conference session will feature world-class panellists providing insightful perspectives on the opportunities and challenges abound in the underwater markets.

Chaired by David Rennie, Head of Low Carbon Energy, Scottish Enterprise, a Welcome Breakfast* will set the scene for Subsea Expo over the following three days, the range of opportunities across multiple markets, both domestic and international, will be explored, with a focus on the oil and gas and offshore wind sectors.

Deep in transition – addressing the energy challenge
The theme for Subsea Expo 2025 is Deep in Transition, which will examine the journey that the underwater industry is undertaking as part of the energy transition, while growing the blue economy and supporting the global drive to net-zero.
