Royal Seal of Excellence: Viper Innovations Officially Presented with the King’s Award

Viper Innovations, a global engineering specialist delivering intelligent electrical integrity solutions for industrial and subsea systems, today announced two senior leadership appointments that will strengthen the company’s ability to deliver practical innovation customers can rely on. Dr. Daniel Denning has been appointed Innovation Manager, and Hugh Clayton as Engineering Director, bringing complementary expertise that will help Viper guide customers through complex technical challenges while improving operational efficiency and reliability.
Dr. Daniel Denning has been appointed Innovation Manager, a role dedicated to turning Viper’s cutting-edge technology into real-world value. Formerly Engineering Manager at Viper, Daniel has been instrumental in identifying opportunities where the company’s technology can help customers operate more efficiently, safely, and confidently.
In his new role, Daniel will work across engineering, commercial, and sales teams to ensure innovations in technology, product and applications are intuitive, effective, and driven by genuine customer needs.
“Our customers are operating in increasingly demanding environments,” said Daniel. "My focus is on making sure our solutions deliver intelligence that’s genuinely useful — intelligence that’s built in to support better decision-making, without adding complexity.”
Hugh Clayton, a trusted consultant since October 2025, joins Viper’s Board as Engineering Director. With extensive board-level experience and deep technical leadership, Hugh strengthens the company’s ability to deliver world-class engineering solutions for critical operations.
